 Hi There

I'm a fifth generation Houston, Texan and most of those roots are traced right here to little, old Tomball.  I graduated from Texas A&M with a business degree and worked in sales and office management for a decade.

I met my husband in Junior High, but he is my College sweetheart (I played a lot of hard to get).  He made me a wife and he made me a Mama, two times over.  He also gave me the final boost of confidence I needed to strike out on my own as an Interior Designer after years of designing for our home, friends and family members.

When I'm not physically dying chasing after our rambunctious little son, riding horses with our daughter or knee deep in a murder mystery; you can find me watching all the (really realistic) design shows or visiting flooring or furniture stores.  I thoroughly enjoy just dreaming up new designs for my own home, or my latest project.  I also do just love to be there and smell the air.  Literally.

Our style over here is one of many, but the ultimate goal is; relaxed, real-life living with clean lines, earthy details and usually, a historical touch.

"The best rooms have something to say about the people who live in them."

-David Hicks

I whole heartedly enjoy re-purposing a family heirloom (yours or found), whether it be decorative, artwork or a great piece of furniture.  This is something I've learned from my Mama.  Now, don't get me wrong, I like clean and open spaces.  She would say the millennial in me cleans out too much, but, I would say a marriage of the two ideals really works for a homey and refreshing aesthetic.
